Been a while, huh?
Yeah, sorry about that. I let my flickr account die out and I haven’t figured out how to upload photos to wordpress without it. Until today!

Sam is Sam. He is active and curious. He has a catchphrase: “Awesomesauce!”. He loves encouraging his baby sister and kisses her whenever she’s unhappy.

Pieces of April
Many, many pieces. Here are the photos.
The other day Arwen was on a blanket in the yard, “swimming” and trying to crawl while Sam and I played Tickle Chase. At one point, Sam ran over to her, crouched down and placed his hand on her head. He wiggled his fingers and said “Teekoo teekoo teekoo!” He then rested his cheek on her soft fuzzy hair and said “I so happy!”

Two children make you late and tired!

Sam has a new cute thing. He’s walking around telling things and people “Don’t worry (person/object), you happy!” I have no clue where he got it from, but it’s ridiculous how adorable it is.

Three moments.
Yesterday evening Sam decided to run around in a tight circle on the living room rug saying “Giddyup Horsie!”. He’d stop every few spins, throw his arms up in the air and yell “Yaaaaay!” then resume his miniature laps.
Before Eric and I went to bed last night, we peeked in on Sam. He had taken an angel doll to bed with him and had it pressed to his chest while he slept.
This morning I was dressing Arwen. Sam came over and picked up her clothes, then handed them to me. “Are you helping Mama dress the baby?” I asked him. As he put her pants on her head. “Dress baby. Awww…it’s a hat!” he said.

He stuck his head around the corner
and said “There you are!” He handed me his juice cup “I would like more, please.”
Who is this kid? Where is my son who demands “JUICE!” and would rather not get juice than say “please”?

He wouldn’t go to sleep,
so his Daddy told him that if he got back into bed, he could have a train in bed with him. “Train!” He hopped back into bed ad giggled excitedly. Eric brought Thomas in and Sam squealed and reached for him. We kept saying “Thomas is soooooo tired!” “Thomas is very sleepy.” At one point I said “He’s been a Really Useful Engine all day and now he needs his sleep!”
Sam said, as he snuggled down with Thomas “Me and Thomas useful engines!”
Eric went to check on him later, and he had fallen asleep on the floor, while playing with Thomas.
